Why prices fell so fast

The first copies of a new set sell to the people who want them most, before many boxes are open. 30th Celebration came out in all twelve official languages on the same day, September 16, 2026. As more boxes were opened and more copies reached the market, prices settled:

How these prices were worked out

Every price is TCGplayer's market price for the near mint English card, as read by Margin's price service on October 30, 2026, rounded to the dollar. Release week is the same market price on September 18, 2026. Sold counts are the near mint English sales TCGplayer recorded in the 30 days to October 30. Lightly played and lower conditions sell for less. Japanese cards from the matching Japanese set are priced separately.
